• Whether it’s right or wrong, fight for what you believe in

  

  

  I want to live with you. I want to live in an apartment decorated with pictures of us. I want to wake up every day by your side. I want to kiss your cheek and whisper good morning in your ear. I want to prepare your breakfast. I want make you laugh in the morning. I want to put strawberries in your mouth. I want to tell you I love you. I want to take you to the shower. I want to slip my hand through every part of your body. Before I go to work, I want to pull your hand and kiss you again. I want to think of you until it’s time to go home. I want to call you and ask if everything is fine. I want to take home something you like to eat. I want to get home and kiss you. I want to take a shower with you again. I want to eat some candy in our bed full of pillows. I want to watch anything on television hugging you. I want to sleep smelling your neck. I want you.

  
  

  I do get called a bitch quite often. What I don’t get called is pushover, stupid, sweetheart, dear, or doormat. Works for me.

  
  

  Do kindness to even the least significant creatures–it may wind up helping you far more than you imagine sometime down the line.

  When something big happens, you don’t immediately point the finger at one person. A bridge collapses, and maybe that’s what people call an act of God, not of the little girl in the backseat of a passing car wishing something would happen to keep her from having to stay the weekend with her creepy uncle. A plane loses its propellers and crash lands on water, and no one blames the guy sitting in 13B who can’t get a date and wants to die over it and doesn’t care if he takes the whole damn plane with him. No human being could take credit for changing fate.

  
  

  Everyone knows I’m perfect. My life is perfect. My clothes are perfect. Even my family is perfect. And although it’s a complete lie, I’ve worked my butt off to keep up the appearance that I have it all. The truth, if it were to come out, would destroy my entire picture-perfect image.

  
  

  The way I see it, you have to take every chance you get because there might not be another one. You have to learn from your mistakes because nobody’s perfect.You have to love, laugh, and live every day like it’s your last.

  

  You just do it. You force yourself to get up. You force yourself to put one foot before the other, and, God damn it, you refuse to let it get to you. You fight. You cry. You curse, then you go about the business of living. That’s how I’ve done it. There’s no other way.

  
  

  I want the same things out of life you do. I just go about them in a different way. You adapt to your environment, I adapt to mine.

  
  

  Sometimes, bad days are there to remind you that you have good ones to look forward to.

  
  

  It doesn’t matter whether or not a thing is true if it is what people believe.

  Sometimes you look at someone and, if you know them well enough, like really know them, you can be sure to guess what they’ll do before they do it. You may not understand why, may not ever understand it, but you don’t need to know the whys and the hows of things. Sometimes you only need to stop them.

  
  

  If you don’t mean what you say, shut the fuck up.

  
  

  If we all do one random act of kindness daily, we just might set the world in the right direction.

  
  

  Don’t pity the girl with one true friend. Envy her. Pity the girl with a thousand acquaintances.

  
  

  When you laugh, everything goes from hard to the easiest thing in the world.
